Description: blaze excluders are devices used to deflect the flashes of missiles TESEO and MILAS in order to safeguard the integrity of the platform and the related preparation of the Nave bridge
Specifications: blaze excluders consist of two distinct structures, one named bucket with the function of conveying the blaze of the lower canister and being the main supporting structure and the other called aileron, which is inserted inside the former with the function of conveying the blaze of the upper canister. The system is then completed by a third element called deflector, which allows the connection between the backside of the canister and the blaze excluder itself.
Relative Materials: blaze excluders are structures made of composite material supporting two overlapping missiles the kind of MILAS or TESEO, guaranteeing resistance to overpressure phenomena and to temperatures induced by boosters and by the thermoreactor upon launching the missiles.
