Description: EFOAM FR is a high performance sandwich core composite material. EFOAM is used between two prepreg sheet to make structural panels. Main advantages are lightweight, High mechanical performance, high resistance against stability loss due to compression and keep screws.

Specifications: EFOAM FR is a syntactic foam (the bubbles consist in hollow glass spheres) based on the same epoxy matrix as EPREG FR. EFOAM keeps screws (best are those used for chip board screwing) in a similar way as hard wood. This property is used for easy assembly, but not for definitive structural performance.
